I've been enjoying taking a break every other month from my Good Life madness to create these smaller bundles. It feels like getting back to my roots with these little bundles and I don't have to be quite so picky about the colors when I don't have to use the color palette for quite as much. I'll be back later in the month with some more coordinating bundles for last month's Good Life.

Creating Layouts with Lots of Photos

How many photos do you usually include in your layout? When I'm making a layout I'm usually including one or two photos, unless it's my pocket pages, in which case I'm including lots of photos every time. Pocket scrapping is a great way to include a lot of photos on one layout, but if you don't want to go the pocket route, here's a bit of inspiration to keep you going.

Here again to share my progress in my digital planner. I'm sharing pages from March, and somehow in March I forgot completely that I was doing the daily pages. Suddenly in April I remembered. It's always amazing to me how you can be going about doing something every day and then suddenly forget all about it. We did have a lot going on in March, so it's not really surprising I forgot about something. I could have just moved on with my life and started up again in April, but making the daily layouts is fast enough that I actually went back and did them.

Using Design Principles In Your Digital Scrapbooking Layouts

I was looking over my blog archive and I don't think I've ever written a post about using basic design principles on layouts. Most of what I learned about design I learned in my high school photography class (we shot on film!), so I don't know that I'm an expert, but these are ideas that I use personally when creating my layouts. And remember that breaking the rules can often be as important as following them, depending on what you are trying to achieve.
