Flip Through Video: Hybrid Travelers Notebook #5

By Marisa Lerin Thu, 02/25/2021 - 22:00

Finished up another travelers notebook and thought I'd share some of the pages. I've been searching for the best way to keep these "notebook" pages together and currently I've just been using ring binders and in this case a travelers notebook cover I got on a super sale. I just put the rings around the elastic cord in the middle and start adding in my pages. I printed my pages at home on pretty heavy cardstock so they feel pretty sturdy.

How to Use Pocket Cards On Your Digital Scrapbooking Layout

By Marisa Lerin Tue, 02/23/2021 - 22:00

Do you love pocket cards but never use them? Do they feel like they're only for pocket scrappers? I challenged my Creative Team to use pocket cards on their traditional digital scrapbook layouts and the results are great! On a traditional layout you can use the pocket card as a layering piece, a complement to your photo, or even as the title. Hopefully you'll find some inspiration here to use them on your own layout. Be sure to share if you do!

My Current Memory Keeping Process

By Marisa Lerin Wed, 02/17/2021 - 22:00

I am not casually interested in scrapbooking. It is a probably not a surprise to you, that I the founder of a digital scrapbooking website, might engage in a few scrapbooking activities. However, you may not be quite ready for all the ones I have ongoing right now. Most of the projects that follow are ongoing, long term projects that I've been doing for years. And I've certainly mentioned them all before, but not in one place.

12 Relationship Focused Digital Scrapbook Layouts

By Marisa Lerin Wed, 02/10/2021 - 22:00

My least favorite holiday is New Year's Eve. A holiday whose main purpose is to stay up late is not something I'm interested in. Just let me go to bed please. And I know a lot of people have similar feelings about Valentine's Day. Maybe not about the staying up late, but it can feel like an unnecessary holiday, especially if you're feeling lonely. Personally I've always seen Valentine's Day as a day about relationships of all kinds.

How to Digital Scrapbook on iPad

By Marisa Lerin Wed, 02/03/2021 - 22:00

Over the summer I finally talked Jordan into getting me an iPad. I had been wanting one for a while, but since we don't use Apple products it seemed like it might be a splurge on something that may not integrate very well with the rest of my devices. But now that I've had it for a little over half a year I thought I'd write up what I like about it and what I like doing on it.

And just to be clear, we are not a family of Apple enthusiasts. Just thought I'd state that up front so you know where I'm starting from when I review the iPad.

Why You Should Use Grids on Your Digital Scrapbooking Layouts - Gallery Spotlight: January 2021

By Marisa Lerin Mon, 02/01/2021 - 22:00

Back to sharing a few of my favorite layouts from the gallery from the last month! I was inspired by all the awesome grid layouts to focus in on why using a grid on your digital scrapbooking layout is such a great tool.

This layout by Becky uses a simple grid layout for a great effect. If you have a lot of photos you want to use on a page, don't be afraid to line them up! Then add in your pizzazz with a few elements.
