New Bundle: Like This

By Marisa Lerin Mon, 12/30/2013 - 10:30

I love to keep lists of my favorite books, music, movies, etc through the year. This bundle will hopefully help you to scrap those great memories! Tomorrow I have a special project I used this for that I'll share with you. And don't miss the fun plastic pockets that you can use with anything!

Feliz Navidad de México

By Marisa Lerin Sat, 12/28/2013 - 09:44

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that my locale changed. Jordan and I are in Mexico for a few weeks, staying with my parents who live just outside of Monterrey in a town called Santiago. It's been a good break, and I'll be back with more details, but for now here's a little glimpse of what we've been up to.

I have some more resource kits for you this week. Enjoy!

My Favorite Christmas Music

By Marisa Lerin Tue, 12/17/2013 - 09:02

I love Christmas music, and every year I await anxiously the arrival of December so that I can start playing it all day long. Here are my favorites Christmas albums:

1. The Steels - This Must Be Christmas

This is definitely the classic album of my family. The Steeles are a regional group from Minneapolis, so unfortunately I think this is a hard one to track down, but it's absolutely my favorite and it could not be Christmas without it.

This week I have a bunch of random resources for you! Hope these bring you some fun!

Christmas in the House

By Marisa Lerin Wed, 12/11/2013 - 09:14

Waiting for Thanksgiving is always a little torturous for me, since Jordan will not let me put up Christmas decorations (or listen to Christmas music) until that holiday has passed. I personally feel like this is a little unfair because honestly Thanksgiving is a little late in the year. This year it was practically in December. I'm considering moving to Canada, as I hear they have a more reasonably placed Thanksgiving.

November 2013: Monthly List

By Marisa Lerin Tue, 12/10/2013 - 09:00

I love making layouts, but I hardly ever do it anymore. I'm looking forward to January, because I'm thinking to have another month scrapping extravaganza like we did in October. I have a couple projects I'd like to work on. But for November, I made this one layout. And I actually made it in December, so I don't know what that means for November. I used the Piccadilly Kit from Pixels and Company.

New Bundle: Deck the Halls

By Marisa Lerin Mon, 12/09/2013 - 10:06

What a weekend! Snow was predicated for Friday, and it was my impression that it doesn't snow much here, so I wasn't expecting much. However, we woke up to a complete winter wonderland!

Throwback Thursday #5

By Marisa Lerin Thu, 12/05/2013 - 08:35

When I look back through my photo collection, it's hard to resist choosing a photo from our travels in Taiwan. It was such a wonderful place to travel. The people were so friendly, and not in a "they say hello to you way" but in a "take you to the train station in their car when you are lost in the middle of nowhere" sort of friendly. This happened to us multiple times. I have never in my whole life had so many strangers offer ridiculous amounts of help. It most definitely left a very special impression. Also, Taiwan is the birth place of bubble tea.

Thanksgiving and New Kits

By Marisa Lerin Mon, 12/02/2013 - 11:21

I hope everyone had a great and festive weekend! Ours was busy and I feel like I've been away for years, but that's internet time for you. It always passes faster on here than it does in real life. My list of things to do today has moved onto two post-its. We have about two and a half weeks before we leave for Christmas in Mexico with my family. So there's lot of excitement coming and lots to get done before then!
