January 2018 Pocket Pages

I've got my first month of pockets for the year ready to share! In case you missed it, I shared here some videos of my pocket process. Also, I finally got my act together and ordered my 2017 photo book. I can't wait to see it and share it with you. There's nothing quite like seeing a project all the way through to keep you motivated on the beginning side where I am right now.

I guess it's April (actually, it's May, shows what I know) now, but I never checked in to see what yearly projects you are working on. Now that I've realized it's May, not April, we're practically half way through the year! Are you still working on whatever you started at the beginning of the year? I feel like I've shown a bit too much of my hand with the end of the post. I've got it together, I swear! :) Anyway, make me feel better below by agreeing you can't believe May (!!) is halfway over.

I love the little baby elephant stuffed animal... how precious with him with it! and It's so amazing how he's like a mini me version of Jordan with "sprinkles" of momma. ;-)

I love it Marisa! You do an incredible job with your layouts! Yes I too cannot believe we are on the threshold of June! I started working on my layouts earlier this year but only have Jan and Feb done. Altho Im only doing monthly pocket pages - I'm still behind. Thank you for the inspiration! It's really what I needed! :) Oh and btw loved watching your videos! You did a great job on them!

Your pages are amazing. I really like the way you tilt some of your photos and/or place them outside the box. I watched your process videos. I don't really have enough photos do make pl pages but I like looking at yours!

Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at DigitalScrapbook.com a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. DigitalScrapbook.com has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!

I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!

I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!

If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.
