Photos from a Lovely Spring Day

I think after a lot of messing around, I've finally settled on a system for getting my photos edited and uploaded. For a while I had a system that worked well for me, then I made the switch to Lightroom, was just starting to figure that out and I got my smart phone, and then got completely lost on how to manage camera photos, phone photos, plus random stuff like Instagram. I think it's finally all starting to come together.

I'll make a post about my processing system soon, but for now I'm just going to share the fruits of my labors from yesterday. Here are some snapshots from the month of March.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh Spring!!! It's about time. Brutal winter here in Pennsylvania and we are not used to it. Your photos are lovely. If you figure out lightroom, I may need a tut. Just got into it and trying to work with it. Happy Spring to all.

Blossoms on the trees ... we still have snow ... actually Newfoundland still can't get out of their doors ... that's a lot of snow .... beautiful photos .... the one of you and Jordan is so pretty

Great pic of you and Jordan, even though I've never met you in person... lol! I'm jealous of the blooms...you are about a month ahead of us here in Montana. We're supposed to get snow all weekend. I agree with Sheila, the last photo is a great background paper. Hmmmmm.....

great photos! I'm so jealous of the beautiful blooms you've got so far. We still have a little bit of snow that's melting and I definitely haven't seen any type of blooming yet, which is making me antsy because I just got a brand new camera!

All the outdoors, spring photos are great. I remember loving going for long walks in amongst the trees in bloom. Now two bad knees, a bucket full of allergies and now lung disease keeps me indoors most of the time. Getting old is not for whimps. I love looking at you layouts and photos. Thank you for sharing them.

About Me

Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at DigitalScrapbook.com a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. DigitalScrapbook.com has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!

I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!

I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!

If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.
