Spring is Here!

I started a thread in the forums a few days ago about the arrival of spring, and no one really seemed to believe me. But I wasn't telling a lie, or even stretching the truth. The weather lately has been wonderful. We've been enjoying sitting on the swing in the garden, and today we took the table out so we could enjoy the sunshine and lunch. It's that perfect time of year when the air is still cool, and so the sun feels good and not too hot. I'm looking forward to a few spring outings in the coming weeks.

That food looks yummy and love the colors in the picture..especially the green in your garden!! Spring always has a way of making everything a little brighter. We have snow on the ground here in Kansas which is kind of rare for us anymore. We are in a drought so the snow is welcome but wish it would go away now! Enjoy your spring days!!

Oh how nice to see pictures of Spring. Enjoy your beautiful days. It has snowed all week here and it is freezing! I am ready for sunshine and green grass.

The weather here in Washington State is very unpredictable, some days wet, some days warm, some days freezing!!! Spring is on its way though. The daffodils are blooming in our garden already. xoxox Beth

Oh, I believed you, Marisa - truly... Though spring is a long way away for those of us who live in New England. ;) It's still mighty cold here & we have snow (it even snowed this weekend). Right now it's "maple syrup season" where I'm at. April is when things start to change here - snow melts, mud season hits, grass starts to get green & grow, and some early flowers & trees start to bud. Looking forward to it, though I also appreciate the coldness & snow - replenishes our water table, and helps the maple syrup farmers have a plentiful season.

We didn't have as much snow last year & suffered drought in our area... As a result we ran out of water in August & may have to drill a well this year (quote two years ago for that was $10k - ouch!) unless the water table replenishes adequately. Needless to say I'm hoping & praying that happens! :)

I believe you. After going outside yesterday I must say: "Spring has also visited Copenhagen". It seems, however, that it went somewhere else today (STORM) but the wise Met-Men say it's returning tomorrow. I just wish I had my own Toby to take long spring walks with. He's the CUTEST!!!!

Enjoy every second - soon it will be HOT.

XOXO
