The end of the year is coming and that may or may not be making you feel like you are behind on your scrapbooking. First I want to say that you have done a great job this year scrapbooking. Even if you didn't so a single thing, good for you doing the things you needed to do.

I love interesting papers that have a lot going on, but personally I find them a bit challenging to work with. They can often feel dominating when used on a digital scrapbooking page. So in order to help challenge myself, and maybe you too, I've collected a few stunning layouts that use busy papers as their background. Let's give these papers the chance they deserve!

The first one is quite simple, but one that I use on pretty much every layout I make, and that's adding a simple border to a photo. You can also use this same technique to turn a stamp like element into a sticker, which I often prefer on my layout as well.
