Some Useful Favorites

If you've been reading this blog for a little while, you'll know that I'm the genius who first came up with the idea that you can mix and match things from different kits. Or maybe it didn't go exactly like that...

Anyway, I'm smart enough to do it now, so I thought I'd share with you a few of my favorite kits I use ALL THE TIME.

Buttons by Melo
▲ You can never have too many buttons!

Pockets by Elif
▲ I swoon for pockets.

Strings by Janet
▲ Little strings always seem to be the finishing touch.

Paint by Sheila
▲ I absolutely cannot make a layout without paint splatters.

Papers by Brooke
▲ Neutral papers always have their place.

Stamps by Violet
▲ Backgrounds usually need some fun stamps.

Elements by Sharon-Dewi
▲ A little something from here.

Wood Elements by Marisa
▲ And a little wood veneer. Very trendy.

Sheep by Melo
▲ Also, you'll need these sheep.

What's your favorite go-to kit?

OMG...I really and truly NEED those sheep. Even if I can't think where I would use them, right at the moment. I just need them! I just love Melo's animals in general, and I grabbed the new Beachy templates she recently uploaded. Thank goodness I got the Patron subscription so I can do 5 CU downloads per day!

Fantastic. The sheep are THE BEST. I mainly use this stuff when making portfolio pages for the children at the childcare centre I run, so whenever the kiddies are into farm animals they get the sheep. Sooooo cute and helps to make all the boring text about what skills the child developed through that particular activity a little bit more fun.

I'm all about mix and match - there are endless possibilities that way :) and using items separately from their kit mates seems more creative and fun to me.

Heehee, you crack me up Marisa... I completely missed the mix and match post, just read it and now have the funny hickups due too laughing too loud. Plus, those sheep still crack me up every time I see them.

Ah those sheep! One of the first digital kits I ever downloaded but I haven't used them yet either! I will though, I will! I totally agree that you always need buttons and paint splats, my motto is "as on paper so on pixel"!

I agree, especially on the neutral papers. They can easily be recolored. And those sheep. OMG those sheep. I have loved them ever since I first saw them, but I haven't had just the right photo to use with them yet (all our baby photos are traditional prints) but have no fear, I WILL use them!
